MSA Traveling (Competitive) Soccer
Mahtomedi Soccer Association is a member of Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA), the state branch of the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA)
At what age does traveling soccer begin?
All MSA teams starting at U9 are considered traveling teams. Birthyear guidelines are assigned based on player's age and according to the birthyear guidelines for Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA). Please see the link on the side of this page for information on what age group your child will play in.
League standings are kept and posted beginning at age U11.
Where and when are games held?
Traveling games will be held at our home fields and at fields around the league. Contact the age group coordinator for your player's age for more information on where his/her games will be held.

What are the different levels of play?
Mahtomedi Soccer Association usually has various teams at the 4 competitive divisions as determined by the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA). The different divisions are as follows (listed from most to least competitive):
- Premier
- Classic 1 (C1)
- Classic 2 (C2)
- Classic 3 (C3)
